Mages are overtuned here

Rockstar you've created an environment where everything other than mages are pointless to play. I've done crazy amounts of testing across various characters with full gear. Mages take less damage than tanks. Hit harder than daggers (daggers are damn near pointless). Mana potions need a 10 second cooldown or Arcane Shield is going to continue to be ridiculous. Necro's even with skele dead take 400 dmg. Ever wonder why people can farm in Isle of Prayer at lvl 40? It's because mages have 100% land rate on abilities. +30 cost is currently bugged as hell, it lands significantly more than +30 Chance. Testing over 300 casts of each +30 chance and +30 cost fear, +30 cost landed 7/10 times average where +30 chance landed 2/10 average. Fix this shit so we can see people play other classes.

Agreed. Mages are extremely overtuned on this server after much testing. The Debuff and other land rates like fear slow cancel is 100 % most of the time without even enchanting the skill. That is why there is a lack of flavor with character type creation on this server. We all know mages are busted here.

As a dagger i can agree that i've never seen me doing less dmg in Oly against robes, and i play top gear and max skills of course. This definately needs to be fixed so that all classes are equal, at least in Oly.

The big problem i it's even outside oly.

Alright, I'll look into mages the next couple days. The cool down for mana pots can definitely be done right away.

Nah, fix the mages, tired of having 8k p atk and hitting a mage for 1.2k with no arcane armor but hitting leather armor (zerkers or rogue) and hvy (gladi / titans) for 4k. It makes no sense.

agreed when i hit mages for 150 more than a tank there is a problem that needs to be looked into. mages are meant to be glass cannons not hellfire tanks. Also debuff and cancel land rates are nearly 100 % on this server with maxed and augmented jewels.

The mana reuse thing won't solve anything in pvp. It will only end the mages' farm in pve. Maybe the removal of auto mana/potion/cp in char flag would effectively change something in pvp, but I imagine it would take a lot of work to configure this

The easiest fix would be to do to them what no mage wants done.

After testing, it looks like Sigils are one of the key issue. They offer more pdef then other servers by far and decreases dmg by over 30% with one on

Seeing that Rockstar changed the p def on sigils, I'll do more testing to see the initial impact. Depending on results, I think reverting the cast speed would be a good idea. This was never about destroying mages, but about bringing them more inline with the rest of the classes for harmony. So for the people complaining about this being "crying" get over yourselves please and thank you.

Okey.Mages are nerfed as you wished guys.. please next do the same with the Hell Knight class too.The class has an unbalanced buffcancel skills..Sps the same if cancel success u lost the half of your dances/songs..🫤
